Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #27, #29 (shared), Glide Wax: Swix CH6, Grip Wax: Blue Minus 5 - minus 15

A joint report from Garry (skate) and Jo-Ann (classic ) from P2 to Mulvihill and Asticou.

Conditions were excellent especially considering the very low snow depth in the park. The classic tracks from the Relais were grassy and twiggy in many spots today, but the parkway conditions were really enjoyable. It was sunny, which has to be mentioned as it helped both the glide and our moods.

I hope second classic tracks will be added at some point. There is so much unused space right now, even allowing for hikes and snowmobiles. This would make it easier to pass and maintain safe spacing.

Thank you again, Demsis!
