Trails Skied: 101 North, 103, 104, 106, TCT, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

There is more grass and ground poking through the lower trails since 2 days ago. There is fresh grooming on the Watts Creek trail which has improved the classic tracks and filled in some boot holes. According to the KN website there is fresh grooming on the 100 series trails too, but the snow coverage is so thin I didn't notice it while I was there, there just isn't enough snow to improve on, unfortunately. There are more icy patches developing, but the snow is still pretty good considering how little of it there is.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
