Did the 40-33-21-2 loop. At least one of the trails was the perfect, skier-set, two tracks through the woods, the epitome of backcountry skiing. I won't mention which trail. On Monday I was extolling the condition of Trail 19 for the same virtues. That same day, a family which included at least one kid and one dog walked on 19 and smashed those tracks flat. Perhaps it is better not to mention which trails remain unblemished.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
