Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: Star NF Medium liquid, Grip Wax: Vauhti K-Base hard wax, Vauhti GF Silver
Great conditions with fresh grooming from P6 this morning. The classic waxing might be getting a touch tricky with the tracks glazing a bit and fresh snow falling. I had good (though not perfect) grip with the combination noted above. We should not take the mild sub-zero conditions with fresh snow for granted. These are B.C. conditions - actually a pretty rare thing around here!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
