Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1 Penguin Climb, #6, #19, #34, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Did the Penguin climb and the 19-34-6 loop at the top. #1 was very good, both up and down. Trails 19 and 34 were excellent with the odd rock to remind you that it is early in the season. Quiet, snowy, almost mid-winter. I was looking forward to the downhill glide on 6 but that trail had been trashed by walkers. It was rare to find any ski tracks in the part that I took and the rocks had been exposed by foot traffic. Still, the best backcountry ski so far.
