Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (from #40 to #1), #24, #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: Yes, Grip Wax: VR50

Route P12 up Tr40, Tr2, Tr24, then Tr1 to Fire Tower and back using classic skis.
Just a couple of rocks poking slightly above the snow on 40 and 2 and almost none on the 1. Not a lot of depth but the grooming is very good on 2, 24 and 1 but fairly loose on the 40. Grooming goes to McKinstry, thereafter there is a well skied trail suitable for classic. Glide is very good at the moment. Looking ahead at the forecast I expect that these excellent conditions will last right through to next weekend.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
