Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #2 (blue), #9, #40, #20, #21, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra

Only negative comment: hordes of walkers climbing up 2 during our descent to P12. Near miss on last 50m descent - 8 or so people walking across the track. After a few shouts and an emergency stop I explained it was not a walking trail. My partner had told 5 other groups further up that they were not supposed to be on a ski trail. They did not understand the signs at P12 and thought the no skate-skier sign meant no skiers. We need a Demsis person at P12 to clarify as there are a lot of new outdoors keeners these days.
Skiing was great, but still rocks on the back country trails. Trail 1 and trail 2 were the best for skiing, but 9 and 20 had gorgeous scenery. A beautiful day! despite our encounters.
