Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: Star NF Medium, Grip Wax: Vauhti GF Silver

Given that P5 was full at 9:30 am there might not be any skier in the region who was not already out in the park today. Passed one of the big machines grooming Ridge Road near Penguin and took advantage of freshly packed conditions between the top of Penguin and Huron. No tracks yet but the classic skiing pretty nice. Still have to be mindful of rocks on the downhills. Parkways were soft and poles are still going through but otherwise good for either classic or skate. I need not mention that the weather was spectacular. One thing I will note is that I have been having very good luck with Vauhti GF Silver lately in a variety of -1 to to -5 fresh snow conditions. If you have some, keep it.
