Afternoon skate-ski to Pink Lake and back. Parkway felt hard packed, not quite toward icy. Sharp breeze out of the west made exposed sections less enjoyable. A thin layer of recent blown snow took a little speed off the glide. All in all on the good side of fair conditions.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
