Despite the dire weather forecast, it was a stunning classic ski day! The grooming was sublime and there was not a trace of ice from last week's monsoon. Skiing in the sunny, sheltered location of Ridge Road, and wearing boot warmers and face protection, the windchill was not a problem.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
