Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , Fortune Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
This is for 3/22 --- Started at P5 around 11. Lot was full. Went up parkway to 1, out to FLP. "Beware of Bears" signs up at intersection with #4 and at FLP. Down FLP to 3, didn't go far. Turned around and returned same way. FLP was beautiful and fast. Still some good control for skating on 1. Downhill to Penguin was manageable.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
