The extra snow that the Quebec side got yesterday really spruced things up. Classic tracks had a good layer of new snow which provided an excellent balance of glide and grip. The only stretch that was icey was the climb up from P16 but once in the trees it was magical. The snow got a little slushy in a few spots on the way back but was minor. All day rain for Friday, but looks like more snow on the weekend. Fingers crossed!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
