Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , #1 Penguin Climb, Gatineau Pkwy, Glide Wax: Vauhti green -2 to -20, Grip Wax: skins

Excellent, fast classic conditions on the GP between P8 and Pink Lake. Mostly well formed and deep tracking on a hardened base with a good layer of compacted fine/granular snow. Just enough loose snow in the skate lanes to provide adequate control on the down hills. Tried the Penguin climb for a bit just off the GP but tracking was mostly shallow and icey hard. Decided to use skins as I figured the conditions would probably strip off wax in no time.
