Trails Skied: 1, 2, 8, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

The warm overnight and sunshine today is taking its toll on the tracks. I got out late morning, so as day continues, it will get worse. Track is still skiable, but it requires more effort as the soft and slush add more friction. There is a large puddle forming on trail 1 between the entrance/exit of trail 10. Substantial debris on tracks of trail 1 closest to Corkstown road. I preferred the more interior part of route 1 and went back and forth a few times to complete my workout.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
