Good classic conditions on the Doldrums this morning. Had started out towards P5 where only a few skiers had compacted the still falling wet snow up the GP. Soon the clumping started. Turned around just past P5 when it got too annoying and returned to P8 where more skiers had compacted the tracks. Problem solved, perfect kick and glide with my skins.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
