Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 101 North, 103, 104, 106, 107, TCT, Glide Wax: Vauhti GW liquid Yellow (Wet) over GW Base liquid, Grip Wax:

Also skied to & from Moodie Drive & then to & from March Road on the groomed Watts Creek Trail(~9.5km). Despite the sun and mild temperature the trails are holding up very well in most locations. The tunnel under the rail line will soon lose all snow and there is a pretty damp area across the TCT near Corkstown but otherwise lots of skiable snow. The conditions were pleasantly good and afforded me a tough 15km 1-skate workout on humid snow that literally "sucked" on my ski bases. But don't let that stop you. Get out there and enjoy these groomed trails while they last.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
