Green Belt

Trails Skied: 63, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Skijored the Heritage East trail from P8 to Shefford Rd and then to Green's Creek this morning. The overnight snow and wind had filled in the tracks in the open areas along the river to Shefford Rd, making it difficult to see the trail in some spots. Good underlying base made it still skiable but slow. The wooded sections near Green's Creek were a little better even though the skate lane is quite narrow, and the classic tracks looked very good in this section. If you go out to ski there today, stick to the woods and choose classic over skate skis until the groomers get out.
