Trails Skied: 101 North, 103, 104, 106, TCT, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Conditions on the lower trails are pretty good for both skate and classic. Classic tracks are shallow in a few places but still mostly pretty functional, some moderate debris in a few spots but not many. Some ice patches are present in both skate and classic here and there. Today I skied the Watts Creek trail to March Rd., it was great! Conditions there were better today than when I did the upper trails yesterday, which surprised me. There is little damage from pedestrians or dogs (some dog traffic in the classic tracks) but overall the snow was fast, firm and fun, without being too icy in most places. I love this new trail, conditions on it are holding much better than I would have expected, and I hope the club can keep maintaining it.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
