Quite a nice, mild day today. Conditions were similar to yesterday, with a little more fresh snow having accumulated on top of an icy base. The amount of fresh snow varied a bit from place to place, but I saw as much as 5cms in the vicinity of Kingsmere. No real problem, but it can be slow going in spots, particularly while skiing in the tracks if nobody else has gone by before you.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
