Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: , Glide Wax: Vauhti LF Violet, Grip Wax: blue klister covered with silver minus klister (just a guess). Bring some hard wax to cover in case you need it!

Skiing was generally quite good today, although with some variation depending on where you skied. Everything that was groomed last night is in quite good shape for either classic or skating. Trails which were not groomed last night (notably #3 Burma ) are quite icy, but certainly passable if you are keen. This makes grip waxing a bit tricky. I would generally advise having some klister on your skis, but there are places where you could probably get away without it (freshly groomed sections)

Ridge Road beyond the 1A/1B junction was in excellent shape and made for beautiful skiing--fast, well groomed, and not icy.

I didn't check it, but apparently the Fortune Racing Trail was groomed overnight.
