Beautiful sunshine today and not too cold. I classic skied on Champlain Parkway and trail 15. The skating lane on Champlain Parkway was groomed overnight, leaving very good skate conditions. The classic tracks were not re-set and have accumulated some windblown snow and ice. While a bit slow, it is still quite good skiing. Trail 15, though not groomed overnight, is also in quite reasonable shape.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
