Trails Skied: 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, 12, Glide Wax: waxless, Grip Wax:

The upper trails were still in great shape this morning. Snow wasn't sticky at all despite the above-zero temps. Fresh grooming had covered much of yesterday's debris, although more is falling all the time. Less debris today than yesterday though. The ice patch on the west hill of trail 12 is mostly covered now, be aware of it but it's much less of a hazard than previously. There is a new patch of frozen slush at the intersection of 8 an 1, but it was easy to get around.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
