Trails Skied: 101 North, 103, 104, 106, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Conditions are as good today as I have seen them so far this season. The grooming on the lower trails is great, there is a classic track everywhere, and considering how little snow the groomers have to work with, the surface is pretty good in both the classic and skate tracks. Still some icy patches here and there, and a couple of exposed rivulets, but tomorrow's snow should take care of those. Not much debris on the trail, but still some weed stubble in places, that too should be covered up by tomorrow's snow, I hope we get the 15-25 cm that is forecasted.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
