Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Gatineau Pkwy, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR30
Did a CSM trial run from P3 > P5 > up Penguin > Huron > just past Western and a bit past. Looked like there was a grooming pass last night or very early this morning. Classic tracks had good grip and glide, but were shallow in parts. Light snow throughout was filling in the tracks but was not a problem. Skate skiers were flying!
Super day to be out.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
