Excellent classic conditions this morning everywhere I skied. You wouldn't think that the weekend had brought such a mess of awful weather. Fresh grooming with a centimetre or 2 of fresh snow skied in. My route was P8 up the GP to P5, then up Penguin climb for a bit, along # 13 toward the visitor centre and then to P9 and back. Blue extra provided excellent grip and the glide was effortless. Looks like stellar conditions for the rest or the week.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
