Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 101 North, 102, 103, 104, 106, TCT, Glide Wax: Swix CH7, 'cause that's what was on the skis, Grip Wax: I'd try a blue of carrot

The lower (equestrian park) trails are in good shape today (I was skating, classic track has been set, but it's not deep everywhere) with the wind, the TGT, and trails 103/104/106 are the top choices.

Big thumbs up to the groomers - there's not a lot of snow to work with, but the trail conditions are very good. And there's a bonus groomed section at the north end of the TCT out towards Carling Ave.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
