Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, Glide Wax: violet, Grip Wax:

Skied a similar route to Cindy but in the opposite direction - from P19 south to Healey and then back. Similar comments - good up around Lac Phillippe where there's been a few more passes of the groomer and then a little... less good past the end of Lac Phillippe - sometimes uneven and bits of ice or sand/gravel poking through here and there. Still nice to ski through here but one must be mindful of the line taken.

Other than that I might add that 52 looks to have had a "compaction" pass of the groomer out towards P17 but I would suspect - while skiable - its probably much the same as Pine road was. I'll wait to do the "triangle" until we get some more snow. Similarly the lower part of 55 didn't appear to have seen a groomer yet but a few brave skiers took it anyway.

Everything is in good shape in terms of "prep" of the base for when (note I said "when"!) the big snows start to fall early next week.
