Trails Skied: #50, #55 (green - shared), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
Excited to get back to the 50's with P16 finally reopening. Second car in the lot at 9am. Skated to Renauld and P19. 50 from P16 to Lac Phillip was marginal; icy in spots, alot of exposed stones and gravel. 50 along the lake, through the campground and 55 were fantastic. Classic skiers seemed to be struggling unless they were on fish scales.
Fingers crossed for (lots) more snow ... soon.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
