Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #1B, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #3, Glide Wax: Vauhti Mid, Grip Wax: Guess: Vauhti GF Red

The park was a beautiful place to be this morning and the conditions were excellent, if a bit tricky for classic waxing. Ridge Road was in excellent shape and Burma was groomed for the first time - a bit soft and narrow still but it was great have it back. The above 0 temperatures and fresh snow are sure to frustrate a few classic skiers and it was also getting a bit draggy for skating when we finished at around 11. On the bright side, when the cold weather comes back it might give us just enough ice to help make things firm and fast.
