Conditions were pretty quick today on the Doldrums. The skiing it was sweet! The snow was wind blown but still fast despite the cold. The wind was also fast, which made it feel cold. Skiing in a more sheltered area than this stretch is advised. But what I couldn't figure out was why the skating lane from P8-P9 is so narrow? Especially given the traffic in that section. Is that other lane beyond the classic tracks also for uni-directional travel? Both were too narrow for the number of people out there.
