Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #6, #30, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

This short report is for skiers that have switched back to their trail runners.

Route: Kingsmere up #30 to Watsford, #6 counter clockwise, #1 to about #14 junction.

Condition: I was surprised that more snow was not meted by the rain. We still have mostly full snow coverage except for bare rock in sunny areas. There was enough snow around wherever there were icy patches that traction devices were not needed.
I was looking down for foot placement the whole time, so it was not as fun nor as fast, compared to better conditions. Nevertheless it was great to be out.
