Gatineau Park

Great Morning for skiing in the Park. Beautiful, crisp, Sunny day with hard pack tracks both Classic and Skating. I did an early morning Classic Time Trial with some Carleton and Skinouk Skiers on a short loop based out of P5 - Penguin Picnic Area. The grooming on the Parkway was looking good and the tracks in that area were solid. After I skied Ridge Road from Penguin to Keogan, skiing was alright there and pretty well skied in by Mid-morning. Snow still seems a little thin on Penguin hill so be careful snow plowing on your way down. If you haven't been out yet, its not to late and well worth it! Enjoy!
