Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: CH8, Grip Wax:

This is a joint skate report by Garry and me. Snow was surprisingly much like it was on Friday, despite the weekend ski traffic. We didn't detect evidence of fresh grooming. There are some obvious bare spots, and tracks were very thin in spots, but the snow has predominantly held up without iciness. In most spots poles didn't hit pavement. Leaves are a problem on some of the higher areas where the oaks hang out. Inconsiderate deer have walked on the trail near Kingsmere! Overall pretty good skiing for this time of year.
