Some more snow over the last couple of days coupled with more grooming has further improved the already outstanding conditions (considering it is mid-November). In many places on the parkways my poles were no longer hitting pavement, and both the classic tracks and skate lanes were relatively firm. This afternoon it was definitely on the slow and sticky side and I would guess that the grip waxing might have been a bit tricky. Falling temperatures should make for great skiing on the parkway network on Saturday.
