Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: -3 to -10

ROUTE: Up the Fortune Lake Parkway from P10 to the Champlain Lookout.

SKATE: Tried to skate up the FLP but there was a lot of loose snow and I was not willing to fight the slog. Lots of people were skating and it was slow. It was one of those rare times when it was faster to classic.

CLASSIC: No new grooming so there were only skier-made tracks. These were fine but not great. Continuous grounding out with the poles. No bare spots at all.

TRAFFIC: 20 cars at most in P10.
