Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy , Gatineau Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: -3 to -10

ROUTE: From P8 up the Gatineau Parkway toward Penguin, all the way up to the Champlain Parkway crossroads.

CLASSIC: the tracks were machine set. There were a small number of breakthroughs to the pavement and lots of leaves. The tracks were very thin and will deteriorate if there is no snow.

SKATE: The skate track looked good and a fair number of people were using them. The pavement came through in a very small number of places, mostly down near P8. The snow was a bit clumpy in places where there was direct sunlight. Overall though people seemed to be having no problems.

TRAFFIC: P8 was about 40% full. There were a handful of cars in P5.
