Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: , Glide Wax: Blue, Grip Wax: N/A

First ski of the season for me! Fresh grooming on Ridge and the parkways this morning but conditions are still a bit soft. We need another 10-20cm, a few more grooming passes and a days of cold to firm things up and get the park in perfect shape. From P6 up #30 was decent for classic and skate, Penguin is thin with rocks at the top, Ridge to Keogan was generally really good with the odd bump and rock. Keogan - Kyber pass was good, rocks up Kyber, good to Huron and #3 crossing but from there it was soft uneven and rockier. Ridge = Rock skis to be on the safe side. Parkway near Champlain has its thin spots but Fortune pkway is in great shape. Enjoy!
