Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #3, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR40

I can't add to the comments about the excellent condition of the parkway. Using rock skis, Burma (#3) was quite OK with only a few touches here and there as was the #1 to the junction with #2 and down to Western. Returning on the 1b was a lot harder on the skis and finishing down ridge Rd past Shilly Shally it was best at times to keep to the grass at the sides. Generally awesome for this time of year.

As shown in the photos there is a tree down on the 9 going down from 1b to Western but it can be easily navigated. Also the NCC has yellow tape across the entrance to the 11 from Prom Lac Fortune.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
