Gatineau Park

Probably a useless report given the rain now falling. Enjoyable skate ski to the Fire Tower. Good to really good (if not unbelievable for the season!) coverage. Groomed to #24, but ungroomed portions were fine, actually remained firmer than groomed ones when things started softening. Lots of dirt and debris, but also some long stretches of clean snow. Mornings should still provide some good skiing well into next week-end, although some washouts and bare patches are to be expected with the mild, wet forecast. Afternoons are going to be very slushy.
Big shout out to the grooming crews for a great season!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
