I skied only briefly on the Doldrums. It was fun to have real classic tracks after several days of "do it yourself" . Lot of skiers were out. The grooming? Well it was fine, but don't expect anything out of the ordinary. The inside classic tracks were getting firm as people skied them. The center lane included a snowmobile track and a center area of loose snow. The skaters seemed to be having a slow time of it. One more pass would have made a big difference. That said, there is still great skiing to be had. Get out there and enjoy it!
