Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1, #1B, #3, Glide Wax: LF Yellow, Grip Wax: Rode Universal Multigrade Klister with a bit of Rode Rossa klister

This report is from yesterday. We skied from P7 and around the 1A/1B loop and then back via Burma (#3 in new school talk)on Sunday. The snow was getting dirty, soft, and slow, but there was no shortage of quantity. The traditional measuring devices at Gossip Corner (the stone bridge and the wooden gates) indicate very thick snow pack. If you like skiing, I would say the forecast for this week remains encouraging, with many potential windows for satisfying outings.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
