Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: MacKenzie-King Rd , #7, #15 (blue), #35, Pink Lake Access, Glide Wax: Waxless, Grip Wax:

Left P6 around 8:30 when there was only 4-5 cars in the lot. Trail 7 was in excellent shape with fresh grooming and deep tracks throughout. Even with the expected soft spring conditions the glide was very good the descents were easily controlled. The tracks on the short sections of the CP and GP between 7 and 15 were shallower but still decent. Trail 15 Blue was also excellent down to 35 and Pink Lake, except for one bare spot near Notch Rd that was avoidable but tricky because it was at the bottom of a valley between two hills. Never saw another skier until I got to Pink Lake. Return trip was a little slower but still good, and the parkway sections were getting busy. P6 was 3/4 full up when I got back around 10:30
NOTE: I tried to post pictures but couldn't. Its a new phone so I think the 250KB limit is going to be a problem.
