GLORY, GLORY, HALLELUJAH! Unless you've had your head in a hole for the last 24 hours you will know we have snow. I had an exam today, so going to the park was out. I had to get to my exam some way, but biking to school would have been nearly certain death. So, like any good skier would do, I strapped on a pair of revolutions, dressed myself for survival and trucked outside to write my last exam at Carleton. The bike path along the canal was decent for skate skiing, and I got some awesome looks coming through campus! Afterwards, Mooney's bay provided some awesome tele turns.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
