The lack of fresh grooming and recent fresh snowfall hasn't hindered enjoyment of the trails. In fact, the fresh snow arrived in just the right depth to enhance the skate experience and allow the classic tracks on all trails to be well skied-in. There truly is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to the snowfall this season. Let's hope the club's lone operating grooming machine is soon joined by the two others so we can enjoy some really great spring skiing on the club's trails this March break.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
