Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #24, #40, #1 (blue), Glide Wax: Blue, Grip Wax: Green klister binder covered in blue grip

Another perfect day on the trails. Started quite late from P12 and skied out to the firetower and back. Went classic today and had great grip with my wax combo. Touched it up with some blue at the tower before my return trip and all was good

Classic tracks had a bit of leaf debris here and there but it was mostly "mulched" as opposed to full leaves I saw yesterday. Perhaps chewed up by the groomer? It was never a problem though and rare that felt I should step out of the tracks.

Oweing to my late start most people were headed back as I skied out. I was the last person at McKinstry and a quiet return trip. Came down 40 with darkness closing in. The final pitches were pretty icy with the days crowds scraping them clean but I managed. That shouldn't be a problem after Tuesday with a fresh pile of snow in the forecast. Back to the backcountry trails after that.
