Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
First of all, thank you to Karl for posting the early report. Today is one of those days we really needed it and he was spot on.
ROUTE: Straight up the Gatineau Parkway from P3 to the T with the Champlain Parkway.
SKATE: Great conditions with a well-groomed parkway. The light snow allowed for very easy control and did not impede progress at all.
CLASSIC: The tracks were remarkably good considering how icy they could have been. The new snow slows things down a bit.
TRAFFIC: P3 was half full at 11:15.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
