Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #51, #53, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: SwixV20 green

Another excellent day for classic skiing. Snow was wetter and warmer than yesterday, and while green wax worked okay, VR30 would have been better. P17 was almost full when I headed out at 10, and was completely full when I finished at noon, but the trails were surprisingly peaceful and quiet. Grooming was great, nice deep tracks. Saw a couple of skaters, and it seemed to be not too bad for skate either. (Sorry for the sideways photos, haven't got the hang of this yet).

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
