Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #3, #24, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: VR30

Conditions are a matter of perspective: poor day for performance and skating. Great day for a classic ski if you are willing to adjust to whatever speed the fresh snow allows you to do. Tracks are sometimes decent, sometimes non-existant. Although NCC changed the network status to "not recommended", the fresh snow is in fact very light and forgiving, and you're not likely to reach break-neck speeds anyway. Once regroomed, conditions will likely remain on the soft side, but most probably very enjoyable.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
