I should have listened to Karl.Ignoring his report yesterday about the FP being slow, I went to P10 anyway, probably because today I could get a parking spot at 1130.
How slow was it? I classiced up the last part of the hill before Fortune Lake, with my skate skis. The cold wasn't that bad, but with the exception of a few areas of frozen corduroy,it was hard work on the FP and GP. After inventing excuses not to go over the last few days, just being up there on a sunny day was worth all the pain.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
