Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 2, 3, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: waxless

I skied the BunnyRabbit trail with two bunnyrabbits. The trails were rolled and skiable. I was on classic skis. I did not see any classic tracks. The trail was soft, but no evidence of the freezing rain (that covered my front steps this morning). By the time I left there were 4 other cars in the parking lot, so some of the trails will likely be skied in for later this afternoon.

A very enjoyable outing.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
